We've finished coding the physics engine. These laws aren't to be broken.
As in real life, there are rules that must be followed on the site.
In character
Power Playing In real life, nothing goes the way we plan, and not everything works out has we want it too. In the game the same rules apply. Your punches won't always hit, you won't always be able to avoid being hit. Games are more of a challenge when you have to fight for victory. Never control another character that isn't yours either. It's often safer to ask the player, then assume.
Words Per Post At the moment there is not post requirement, but please be respectful of the person you are role playing with. Try to match what the other player posts, nothing is worse then receiving one line in response to a novel.
Time Characters are not to be in two places at the same time. TIME STAMPS will aid you in ensuring this will not happen.
Thread Limits You can be in a maximum of 1 EVENT at a time. There is no limit on non-event threads, but the admin will be keeping an eye to ensure you are keeping up.
Event Threads In all events, there is a risk your character may die. When you join an event, you are agreeing to this risk, as well as committing to posting in a timely manner. Leave of absent posts will not protect your character from death. If you know you aren't going to be around, leave the slot open for another player.
Corruption In order to become corrupted, your character must be present in an event, and selected by the randomiser to be corrupted. There is a chance your character may be corrupted at creation, you will be informed by PM if the admins select your character.
Out of Character
Respect Each Other If we need to go into detail, we are very upset. Playful joking around is fine, but there is a line you do not cross. Trolling is not acceptable. If you can't be respectful, please do not join.
PG-13 By Proboards rules, we must keep the site PG-13. Swearing is allowed, however don't go overboard. Sex, gratuitous violence and other things of that nature aren't welcome. If you really need to include them in your post, please use the fade out method. A subtle hint can be powerful.
Read Please. Read the announcements, follow the news, check the site weather and pay attention.
One Character per Account It makes individualizing your characters easier, as well as inter character communication.
Display Name Please format your display as such; First Last
Face Claims Face claims are in place to ensure they are unique, as well as give a face to the character. Please use Anime or Manga faces for your characters. You are welcome to draw your own, however keep in mind, we reserve the right to ask you to switch to an existing face. We reserve the right to judge.
Images Please have a 100 x 100 pixel icon of your characters. You may have a 500 x 200 signature picture, but it is not required. All images should not be wider then 500px.
Attendance We understand real life can get in the way, but we ask that you try to be an active part of the community. If we do not hear from you for over a month, we will place your characters into the graveyard. They can be retrieved, however, this works on a "three strikes, you're out" system. On the thrist strike you will need to make new characters. If you know you will be away for a while, due to school, please let use know in the Attendance section.
